What is a doula?
A doula, in a professional context, is a trained and experienced childbirth support professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational assistance to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth. Doulas offer non-medical guidance, comfort, and advocacy to enhance the birthing experience and promote a positive and informed decision-making process for the mother and her family. Their primary role is to provide continuous support and help ensure the birthing person's physical and emotional well-being during the childbirth journey.
In my doula practice, I am dedicated to empowering women throughout their birthing journey. My passion lies in ensuring they feel confident, heard, and safe during this transformative experience. I am committed to helping mothers achieve the birth they desire by offering comprehensive education, allowing them to make informed decisions. Additionally, I strive to create a supportive environment for fathers, guiding them in advocating for their partners and actively participating in the childbirth process.
